Modified steering wheel for NDIS driving lesson

Empowering NDIS learners to drive safely, confidently, and independently

Learning to drive should feel safe, supportive, and achievable. If you’re an NDIS participant (self-managed or plan-managed), we’ll help you build confidence on the road with lessons tailored to your needs — calmly, step by step.

The Challenge

Finding the right instructor — one who understands accessibility, pacing, and confidence — can be hard. You deserve a patient guide who adapts to your goals and helps you drive safely and independently.

Meet Your Guides

With over 30 years’ combined experience and more than 4,000 learners taught, Drivetime provides calm, structured instruction for NDIS participants in automatic vehicles only. We are an NDIS-registered provider and work respectfully alongside participants, families, plan managers, and Occupational Therapists (OTs).

A Simple 3-Step Plan

  1. Call 0433 499 944 – Tell us your goals and NDIS details (self-managed or plan-managed).
  2. Personalised Lesson Plan – We align lessons to your abilities, comfort, and OT recommendations.
  3. Drive with Confidence – Build skills session by session and progress toward safe independence.

What We Offer (Tailored to You)

  • Personalised, confidence-building lessons at your pace (automatic only)
  • Accessible teaching for cognitive, physical, or anxiety-related needs
  • Collaboration with OTs (and vehicle modifiers where required)
  • Clear documentation for plan managers and progress tracking
  • Local test preparation for Corrimal and Warrawong Service NSW centres

Training Goals We Support

  • Safely using any prescribed adaptations or vehicle setup
  • Observation routines, hazard awareness, and low-risk driving habits
  • Speed control, positioning, decision-making, and route planning
  • Practical strategies to reduce errors and build calm, consistent driving

Avoid the Setbacks

Don’t settle for lessons that feel rushed or generic. The wrong approach can knock confidence and slow progress. Choose a patient, NDIS-aware instructor who helps you succeed safely.

The Outcome

Imagine the freedom to visit friends, get to work, or attend appointments independently — feeling calm, capable, and in control behind the wheel.
